First of all, several people stick by the same team year after year, even on the tourney scene.
Some people will also run offenses with certain traits needed that the Patriots just don't have.
If we find another blown run play the Broncos and Chargers are gonna be the teams to use (Goaline, HB inisde). Henry and the Bronco Line + LT.
If the deep threat isn't anything like it was several other teams become very usable.
If the Defense is amazing like it just may be, a lot of people will be using the Broncos, Ravens, etc...
Maybe a glitch (QB draw), a need to roll out, or something else will help even the playing field. Hopefully not.
Yes, the Pats will most likely be used the most.
But quite a few other teams will be up there, even on the tourney and MC scene.

I only use my Panthers and sometimes Redskins, especially during the season. I don't use teams just because of certain offensive and defensive traits. I'm more of a football fan than a Madden gamer.
I'll be using my Seahawks.But here and there might see how I can do with the Pats, since I use their playbook.I also think the Cowboys are going to be pretty good this year,they are my second team as long as their not playing the Hawks.Hamlin and Williams in the secondary are going to scare the hell out of alot of people,they are 2 nasty hiiters:eek:

That one I disagree on. Remember when most people went from the Vikings straight to the Raiders?
The Ravens are gonna be nice, their D wont be as good but they have a better running back this year in McGahee. It hurt that they lost Thomas, but their D is gonna be sick, not to mention McGahee running the ball and giving McNair a dumpoff option when the pressure comes.
However, i'll still you the Chargers all game every game

Thats me, more or less. Being from Alabama, I don't have a pro team in my state and college ball rules the land anyways so I always use one of the southern states teams(TB/Titans/Saints/Jags are my favs).
I'm Gonna use the ravens for every single one of my games online in 08. I don't care if I play 1000 games, every single one of those games will be the ravens no matter what.
patriots won't be the most used team because the broncos are better than them. plain and simple
I wont use the team eveyone else uses because its gets boring when eveyone plays the same. (last year eagles) I dont pretend ill use a bad team b/c i wont but ill find a team that is good but not NE and use them. (mabe stl,ind,cin,was? den, chi, bal, det?, sd) but depending on how much better NE is then everyone else i may use them vs anyoneone who picks NE
This is so interesting to me cuz I see people here pick teams with their hearts and others pick teams for their stats. All this tells me is that we will play against all kinds of teams online. I love playing with the G-Men (as they are my fav team in the NFL) but with the new weapons system for 08, I will be more inclined to pick any team knowing that i can spot the go-to-guy or the killer defensive player right away.
ill use detroit , no i dont like them but their stilll gonna be good or madden , and madden isnt the same as the nfl where you ave to stick to a team.
Imma use my jets cuz they got a key addition in offense wit runnin back thomas jones n jonathan vilma is a straight up beast...if it wasnt for the pats my jets would have the afc east on lockdown cuz bills are trash n dolphins are trash:crazy:crazy

If Madden 08 AI shows up anything like NCAA, u won't have to worry about the pats being that dominating.
Ravens lost nothing. Their D got better IMO. Suggs is replaced Thomas.
