im haveing a problem i was on my computer and my start tool bar at the bottom is gone and all my icons i have to hit contal alt del to get a box to pop u to get my programs anyone know how to fix this i reset my com tryed to chang thing i really want to do a system restore but can find the file on my computer search to get it

Try loggin in as an admin and see if it does the same thing. Sounds like u either have a corupt registry or a virus.

Try the admin log in, if it works, do a virus scan. Worst case scenerio, put in your XP disc, after u get to the screen where u press F8 to cointinue, do the repair process, it should repair it.

Another thing u can do is go into the Recovery Console and repair the registry if that ends up being your issue.
