Post here, your stories. Close calls, success, failures etc. Its too early in the week now but by thursday-friday some of us will have it.

how are some of yall getting an early copy?
i have a store near me who sells all video games when they get them in. i got ncaa on the thursday before and hope to get madden sometime before the weekend
ur lucky the store i got ncaa said they didnt have it nd tried telln me that it hasnt comeout yet. jus cuz they were 2 lazy and didnt stock them yup yet so i had 2 complian and get my copy. they did that madden 07 and i hope they do that wit madden 08 so i can shut them up 3 times. lol

its not like it hurts lil stores to sell them a day or two early to special returning customers
Ur right.... Regardless I doubt anyone is important enough to get an early copy.... Like I said.....

:rofl are you serious? Its not a question of being important enough. I just happen to know of a store that will sell it when they get it in, if anyone lives in the tri-state are and wants the address/phone number pm me. I cant guarentee anything, but i always get games there early as recently as ncaa
i got ncaa a week beofre it came out. lots of guys on the site can confirm. Im looking to get madden within the next two days

there are a lot of ignorant people on here i tell ya..
Small stores that don't normally do alot of pre-ordering put them out on shelves early not stores like gamestop and eb games but stores like hollywood gaming(i know you probably never heard of them) an other little stores, or maybe you guys are just jealous that you cant get it early idk but there are already like 10+ people that already have madden 08, also i know people who drive trucks and work at some gaming stores and that is how most people get it early by having those type of connections.
But as for me i probably will get one early then sell it for like 100 an make like 30-40 dollars because i don't care for having it early online play will probably be crap online like ncaa for the first few months till they do a patch or something and i don't play off line besides vs friends and i might as well wait until they have the game because it wont be any fun for me if i blow them out every game because i know all the stuff bout it lol :S

nah, cuz theres an hollywood video and that crazy store inside nd the 1 yup here is wack. the 1 up here probally wont even have madden 08 till next year lol. but i dnt know bout yers

Not lazy, smart. Anyway, im sure if you call enough places you can fin done willing to break the street date. Forget stores like eb and gamestop. And now, you can even forget target, walmart, CC, compusa, etc. You are looking for video game stores that arent chains. Doesnt have ot be a small store or a mom and pop shop. It just has to be a place that doesnt have to deal with "corperate". GL, and if you decide yu want to drive down to jersey ill give youy the address :yes

I'm in Cali and last yr me and my lil bro printed those fake madden early release coupons and no one accepted it but TRU. We got the game like the weekend before the launch date. several sites posted them and few came back with copies. So if you see one print it a try your luck.

Im getting mine tomorrow from a small store in the Los Angeles area.
im goin 2 baltimore 2morrew and im gunna walk around 1 day nd see if theres any game stores that have it but im cumin back the 13th so itz only 1 day b4 that i have ova the rest if there is an early copy out down there
lol the earliest i will be recieving mines is over midnight lol. i pre ordered at eb games so that means i will be spanking *** the night of madden release.
