I'm a WR and I have 89 spd. I have gotten a 4.44 dash time once and I'm not exactly sure what I did, and Im have troubles getting to that burst acceleration thing. Is there a trick like start off slow and then increases at a certain point? Can someone explain how to get into the burst mode?

Thanks

u usually cant get into the slow motion mode unitl your pretty fast........the best thing to do is hold down on one stick while the time is beating down before u start......then start off at a steady pace.....doesnt really matter how fast go as fast as u can whiel still keeping ti completey steady then once u get to the 30 yard marker start kickin actually start kickin a little before the 30 yard marker like about where 27 would be

also, if you still care, the speed reciever is obviously the fastest, but if you make him really tall, it always seems to help me.

I push my right thumbstick down when it gets to the 4th beep it tells me to let go of it, and i do but then it does a false start

you just push them down alterintivly fast and r2 when your close to the line for a dive finish

it can shave a tenth of a second or your time

Hey everyone, I'll be the first to admit I'm a noob on the 360 (only had it about a week lol). I played Madden 06 on PS2 a couple time and thought I'd check out superstar mode again. For some reason, I just can't seem to get the feel for the dash and press drills. Whenever I try to alternate r and l sticks, he ends up stumbling around and I get 6 something for a time. On the press, I push both up, hear the beep, release and try to hit both buttons but my stam doesn't build back up and i only get like 3 reps. Any suggestions on these? Thanks!

Same...I always get like 5.5 and 5 reps...can't get anymore than 5 reps, no matter how strong the guy is.

Yea the reps are hard this year. And when the thing says (let go on the right thumbstick on the fourth beep) dont listen to it, its wrong. You will get a false start. When you start running, keep tapping down the left and right thumbstick. It helped me.

There's definitely a trick to getting the bench press down, which I figured out last night (at least for myself). The way I do it is like this: as soon as the bench press meter comes on the screen, push both sticks up. Just a split-second before you hit the green mark, release and simultaneously start alternating on the trigger buttons. You can begin flicking the trigger buttons while your meter is still in the green. BEFORE the meter falls down to the blue, start pushing back up. If you wait to push up until the meter hits the blue mark, you will hit red instead and lose stamina. Think of the meter as being slow to react to your thumbsticks. When you start pushing back up before your meter hits the blue, your superstar will slow down a little bit to avoid hitting the red. The slow down is not enough to hurt your rep count. When hitting the trigger buttons, try to hit each one about 3-4 times, but no more. When you try to hit them more than that, you will be more likely to fall into the red (unless you have the timing down). Using this method, I'm able to push off 35-39 reps with a balanced QB.

Also, I know this is cheap, but I enjoy playing Superstar this way:

From the main menu, create a player, make him as young as you can go (by changing his birth year) and make sure his "Years Pro" say 0. You can put him on a team at this point, and max out all his attribute points. Go into the roster depth chart, make him the starter, and go into Superstar mode to "Play as a Rookie". Your newly created rookie will be availble in Superstar mode. I like this trick because I simply don't have time to play the drills, because of a busy lifestyle. And besides, if you are struggling with the drills, this trick allows you to play Superstar mode like you envisioned with a fully maxed out Superstar. Yeah, it's cheap, but it's fun.

I got a HB with 89 speed and I'm only runnin' a 4.98 fourty. Is that normal or no? I try alternating my method when running the drill but get pretty much the same results. I try to alternate the sticks fast one time and try smoothe but not as fast the next. Anybody notice a difference in the two?

Thx
