i like wayne, but i dont think hes even close to one of the greats. hes a punchline rapper. hes good, but his quality has dropped off dramatically.
with that said....this album is so horrible.
like....3 songs max.... are what u expect from wayne. the rest are garbage.

of course ill get it when it leaks online within the next few days, but i doubt listening to the whole thing will change my opinion. the songs overall sounded like a 3/10. i was very dissapointed...

yea this is how i feel...ive listened to wayne even before he blew up....ive always said i wish he didnt do so many mixtapes and focus more on albums...some stuff he puts out i just think "why waste your time on this BS".....the only mixtapes he shouldve ever done were the ones that were like albums themselves like Dedication with DJ Drama ect.
However I have heard most of the C3 but I don't want to hear it all yet, I want something of suprise when it comes out. But, from what I have heard there is no denying that he shocked most people. I was even doubting this CD after hearing some of the BS he had been doing as of late. Once again tho he proved why he is so good. No matter what he releases he always gives his albums 110% and I havent heard a song yet that I don't like. Wayne would just be better off focusing on albums and collaborations instead of all this mixtape bull every month. He trys to do too much. He supposedly has "I Cant Feel My Face" in the works with Juelz which I really am tired of waiting for. Then he is talking about an album with Llyod and the Dedication 3 album.....slooooowww down. Finish one project first. And i also hear he wants to do an R&B album which would be the biggest mistake he could ever make.........

OHHH yea i think i heard about I Cant Feel My Face....but hopefully they get it out somehow...and I think Dedication 3 will be hot...the Dedication mixtapes are almost as good as the Carter albums...as far as Lloyd..im not too sure what I think about that yet but that shouldnt even be released in 08 anyway....

yea...the songs have been leaked individually for a while now...and people would just put together the album themselves, tag it themselves, make their own .nfo, etc...
i just posted this because this is finally the official one.
the whole ripped cd, track for track. proper everything. not just something some idiot put together and spread around the net. like on some versions, it says David Banner produced Phone Home. :rofl2
they couldn't be more wrong.
and the quality on this rip is so much better. you wont be able to notice on computer speakers, but listen to the version that everyone haves already, and this one, and at least a decent system......and you'll definitely notice a difference.

I don't even think he is the best alive...I think most can agree that among living rappers that Nas & Jay Z would be the G O A T S....but Wayne is right under them...he still has a way to go but to the say Tha Carter Trioligy isn't classic is crazy....
Just cause wayne took a different direction with Carter 3 isn't a bad thing...you cant compare Wayne to other rappers which is why i never will bring him up with Jayz and others.....Wayne has branched off to his own style...sure he may have bite some stuff here and there but so has Jay Z(download that ''swagger jacker'' diss if you dont believe me).
Lollipop might not be to a lot of peoples liking but its not a bad thing...he did something a lil different from normal rappers...you can't compare lollipop to any other rap song...its ok not to like the dude but damn can he get some respect...to say his album is garbage is just not right...maybe its not as good as C1 or C2 but it is a nice album with some good songs(Mr. Carter, Dr. Carter, Leat The Beat Build, ect.) as well as some fun songs(lollipop, got money, ect.) Not to mention I am sure it is hard as hell to have to keep re-doing all your material because people are trying their hardest to get a hold of your **** and leak it out...no other Artist gets leaked like Wayne period...why do do you think all the BS mixtape DJs make a new Wayne mixtape every week...cause you cant use any other Artist like you can with Wayne...thats why he said he sees so many mixtapes with his face on the cover and he doesnt even know who the DJ is.....

I have every Lil Wayne CD from "The Block is Hot" to "Tha Carter 3"(when it comes out). He has alwasys been my favorite even before he got real big. I'm from New Orleans tho so thats a big reason why....I always liked the hometown artists. His old stuff is good too but in a different way. He came into the game at a very young age...his lyrics matured as he did..back when he was in the Hot Boy days they were all just excited to be rapping...they made fun music. But, you can still listen to some old tracks and here some good lyrics here and there. I don't know much about gangs lol...it is funny tho cause on his Block is Hot album cover he wears a blue bandanna and in the inside of the booklet he has a picture with a red bandanna on lol...but i've always heard that the blue bandanna represents uptown New Orleans which is kinda true...and the red represents blood...but i honestly don't know....i do know in one music video he was wearing his red bandanna on the left side and supposedly thats the side the crips wear it on so i reall dont know...its kinda funny
