Can someone make me a logo for South Florida Madden Ballers ?

Heres some ideas... use this color scheme (http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/4467/logo4a1e8e0di6.jpg) . since we're in south florida.. try to incorporate a palm tree in the logo (theres one in photoshop cs3 in the shapes feature) if you need it hit me up..

try to make it a catchy looking logo that would look good on a shirt.. etc

Thanks guys. The sooner the better because SFMB is having a site made so they'll need to have it incorporated into their website before the contract with the webmaster is up. doesn't have to be done like today... but within a week would be nice.

hm.. not bad but see if you can try to give it more of a logo type of appearance, like something you'd see on a business card. i was thinking making like a palm tree leaning over above the football player instead of an erect palm tree. u see what im sayin about the logo?

would you know to make the tree look like its leaning over in like a circle? what i was thinking is.. like a lil patch of island.. with a football player on it and a palm tree leanin over em. make it a .png with a transparent background

with a football for the background instead of the sun/water.. then put the palm tree in the logo some where with a lil bit of the tree sticking out at the top, then put SFMB in cool letters on it in the middle.. then write like "South Florida Madden Ballers" at the bottom arcing up with the football.. but since u got the football in the BG we wont need a football player

ur getting closer with that second one you posted. can you make the red part real football pigskin colors and white laces? we'll see how the black looks under it after you do that. and lets see how the palm tree looks on the right. you gettin close

great **** goat u a beast.. the guy loved it we gonna use the football one with the transparent background(this one http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r78/22goat22/sfmbpalmbrowncopy.png). just 1 lil thing can you pull the palm tree up a little more and put a little tree trunk under it so it look a little more like a palm tree. also make a second one and throw the palm tree thats in the photoshop shapes panel cause the guy said he wants to see how that one looks as well.:thankyou

OK, here goes.

Dude can work photoshop, so it's not a dig on your skill. I think your knowledge is a little lacking though.

A logo is one that is small, max 2 colors and can be printed and put on stationary, etc. That is more of an image. Again, not a dig.. but you can't print that thing.

A logo should be viewable from as small as 17x17 pixels. It should be text with a small image to go with it. That one is never going to print or look good that small. You were onto the right track when you said that text with small palm trees coming over one of the corners or something.

PS - those laces need some work too. Drop the plastic wrap, satin overlay or whatever bevel you got on that while you're at it. Again, not a dig on your skills.

See also: that football player is a high res picture. The text on that image will burn your eyeballs and won't work in print. Try using a vector image when you design logos.

I was impressed with a few of his sigs. Logos are just one of the things I know. Logos and print design.

The colors were able to be changed with no problem(only 3 colors at the mot for logos), it's simple/clean and can be sized down to be worn on a golf shirt, if desired. Nawmean?
