I will update this list with all the best ideas we want for Madden 2010. Some opinions will be edited for length.
-More options for camera view...how about making one that shows the entire width of the field but doesnt move around.
-The ability to jump high when user catching with receivers. In the past receivers jumped too high, this year they barely jump.
-Olinemen holding blocks slightly longer. I like that the oline misses blocks this year but i wish the ones they make would get held for more than a second.
-Playaction needs to be quick like in real life, its so slow that the dline nails you about 1/3 of the time unless you have a scrambler.
-I think they should develop more personal drills for each position in superstar mode
-No breaking tackles backwards and losing forward progress
-In Superstar mode they sign you to a team for alot of money. Well wtf is the money used for?? They should have the money to be used for like buying things at the store. For example, classic teams, or stadiums.
-For franchise mode watching a players highlight video and watching the combine to see how good the players are. For superstar and franchise you are inside the draft room and when a player gets drafted they show that player holding up the jersey.
-I would like them to bring the blue line of scrimmage back.
-When in goalline, have some kind of RB jump over the line option, and the same thing in reverse for the linebacker to stuff the attempt
-Its already great that we can change a players gear to correct errors but we should also be able to change the body build, for example if i find that maurice jones-drew's legs and glutes arent big enough i can pump em up at will

Ya i agree with all of your and i think for franchise mode watching a players highlight video would be really cool and for any draft superstar and franchise you are actually inside the draft room and when a player gets drafted they like show a picture of that player holding up the jersey. And watching the combine to see how good the players are in their drills would be great.
I know its minor and probably insignificant to most people; but I would like them to bring the blue line of scrimmage back.
YEAH, I loved that blue line of scrimmage, helped me on focusing on what was needed most.
I just want EA to make the game with out any glitches nanos and any other crap ppl will use to win games just make a product that has none of that crap in it

And also the circle under the player you controle is very hard to see this year since its almost the same shade of green as the grass, so maybe make it a color that stands out more

I wish i had a HD tv, i dont. I have a like 45 inch TV, but its not HD.

i think that should add towels 2 the equipment like they have in real life...
i think that they should also improve the running game i like that its a little more realistic but its 2 hard 2 run the ball this year... they should keep it challenging but not impossible
i also think that they should have like a sports center vibe in superstar mode and franchise mode... like chris berman does when they recap the big plays of the week, big hits and etc.
and the juking system should let you combine moves almost like combos i know they said they added that but its still not all that realistic
they def. need 2 make superstar mode and franchise mode more fun its boring after the first few games
and the last thing is that they should add is letting the qb be able to step up in the pocket 2 break tackles and make moves 2 avoid the rush like in real life
you dont have 2 be micheal vick or vince young 2 do that... as we seen eli manning 2 in the super bowl last year
oh yeah and they should let you choose your own hair style when u create a character like they do on ps2 and xbox

I bet they can make all this stuff happen if they separate madden and superstar. Would you guys buy the games separate if they had "MADDEN 2010" and "MADDEN SUPERSTAR?" Hell if people buy the coach game i dont see why not superstar, that way they can really add a lot more to the madden experience and superstar experience with out taking more from one or another
yeah thats a good idea, personnaly i play superstar 90% of the time so i wouldnt miss all the other stuff specialy if it means better superstar mode

They have celebrations now, I was thinking, why go back to the plays right after a tackle, or big gain... How about a little show boating or aggression after the play...
They want to keep it realistic, lets extend the gameplay longer than just snap to whistle...

One time, I caught a deep ball with Darren McFadden in Superstar, and suddenly the camera goes crazy, and MOVES AWAY FROM MY SUPERSTAR, so it's pointing to the line of scrimmage and I'm running blindly with Dmac. I ended up going out of bounds when it could have been a TD. Ugh.

A composure system like in the college games:
Ex: Bush fumbles a couple times...his awareness drops....his confidence goes down...etc.
What Im trying to say is have something where the game is more real.....like where if you get hit hard and your toughness rating is low..you run timid if your a back or you start to alligator arm catches over the middle if your a reciever.
Or if you keep burned at the cb positon....you start to lose focus and can be picked on by the offense unless the user takes you out of the game.
Ex:: Your playing aginst a rookie quarterback and your on defense and you do alot of audibles and shifting which would force the rookie to call timeout or throw a bad ball that could get picked.

Ray Lewis is the heart and soul of the Ravens so when he plays good the d plays good..but when he plays bad the d play should lag or if gets hurt..etc.
Injuries//Playing Hurt/Nicks and Bruises
In a real NFL game no player feels the same from quater one to quarter number 4.....they are nicked and bruised so the ratings should follow.....
If they have a lower body injury they should be limping......you know something like that...or if your running back hurts his hand he could fumble more...etc.
Awareness for QB's and LB's or safeties.
I think that if a user has the Colts and he has Manning and Peyton starts to get hot and completes passes or gets a few td's that if they press a button they can see the defenses play..which would be semi real for Mannings ability to read a defense.
And on defense for a guy like Ed Reed or Ray lewis if they start to take over the game..sacks...tackles..int's...forced fumbles..etc......if they press a button right before the snap they can see the offenses play.
Kick/Punt Returner Impact Players
With the emergence of Bush, Hester, Ginn, Desean Jackson, Felix Jones, Joshua Cribbs etc...I think in Madden on Kick and Punt returns these players should be in "impact player" mode and be damn near unstoppable.....which would make the return game DANGEROUS like in real life.

How bout the money u get you could cutomize ur shoes like OCHO CINCO lol. have your team color and player number or name and all that. Or buy equipment like n NBA Live. yeah they should do an ESPN weekly update like in 2k5. I think in superstar you should have more control of your player. say you have a WR when you score u should be able to not only celebrate but hand the ball to the ref, or taunt the defender, or on D you should be able to late hit (slightly) or get in someones face, or as a QB actually walk up to the LOS and tell ur OLinemen what to do akak exacly who to block. they should bring back the big mouth peice. the news paper like in xbox and ps2 so you know whats goin on. there should be player roles again, not only weapons, but roles, injury prone, star player, team leader, 1st round pick,NFL Icon, offensive play maker, goto guy, fumble prone, future star,futre QB, underacheiver, defensive playmaker, fan favorite, franchise QB, feature back, klutch kicker, captain comeback, defensive enforcer, game manager, project player, team distraction, team mentor, and return specialist.
and you should be able to pic what weapon u want to use, say u have Adrian Peterson, and u want him to run up the middle then u should be able to change his weapon at pre-snap, to trucker or Stiff arm, but if ur runnin tosses you wanna use elusive, or KO elusive, or say you want him to run a route and you want to use his speen weapon
I want to be able to run a franchise online with a friend or two. It sucks only being able to do it with someone u live with.
1) man coverage needs to get better. it's a joke. back in '05(or '04) we could align all of our DB's inside the WR's to take away the slants and slot crosses. also, we should be able to disguise man coverage.
2) i think that a :25 play clock would be better than a :40 play clock. this would make the games more fast paced and fun. 4 minute quarters would be better also.
3) make the DB's better vs the User catch. the user catch has ruined madden in my opinion. by the end of every madden year it is simply a matter of who can user catch better than somebody else. someone like champ bailey should not get "user abused" via rocket catch.
4) more creative playbooks. this year the playbooks are vanilla. curls, screens, and posts is about all you see. every playbook should be unique. or maybe EA should just let us design our own plays and formations like NFL Fever 2004.
5) every year offensive audibles cause glitches. if someone audibles more than once on offense there should be a greater chance of a busted play. for example:
-if you audible 2 times there should be a 25% chance you will have a busted play
-if you audible 3 times there should be a 50% chance you will have a busted play
In the nfl, players would get confused if the QB changed the play like 10 times at the LOS
6) EA needs to put a cap on the QB's drop. what i mean is if you drop back deeper than 10 yds, the QB's accuracy should be decreased by 30%. also, when running backwards or sideways with the QB, parts of your screen should "grey out" so you can't see what's going on downfield.
7) Defend deep/Pass commit: these need to work better. for some reason the Slot Post still seems to get behind our DB's for 6. if i use defend deep AND pass commit there is no way a WR should get behind them for 6.
8) we need better user pass rush ability. in 07 i could rush off the edge rather quickly with someone like julius peppers. in the nfl the elite rushers get around the edge very quickly.
9) more realistic match-ups on run plays. for example, if i have an average center lined up on an all-pro defensive tackle, the defensive tackle should push my center into the backfield on run plays. some of the elite DT's have a strength of like 97. this strength should be more visible in madden.
10) if i hit stick a WR in traffic he should fumble, drop the pass, or get knocked out of the game. in the NFL WR's cannot take big hits in traffic like the players on madden do.
to counter these big hits it should be easier to drop down to the ground with the WR after catching the ball in traffic.
11) it should be hard to get more than 3 yds with a FB dive. it also should be hard to get more than one yard with the QB sneak. if the QB tries to take on a Linebacker that should be it for the QB...he's knocked out for the game.
12) fumbled snaps - i think the QB/center exchange is taken for granted on madden. i would like to see fumbled snaps and the ball snapped awkwardly while in shotgun. not every game though. only once in awhile.
13) online ranked games should be on all-madden
14) penalties are a necessary part of the game. however, the 15 yard facemask penalty is out of control this year. why can't the facemask be 5 yds once in awhile?
also, people who throw every single play should have more offensive holding penalties. it's not easy for the offensive lineman to pass block all game long when the defensive linemen are pinning their ears back and rushing the QB at full speed
15) disconnects - we are all tired of disconnects. my idea is this: if anybody disrupts their internet they should automatically get a loss and be removed from the game.

in supersim, after scoring a TD the game runs the clock about 3 seconds for the extra point, and it has kickoffs take 14 seconds. also, sometimes the clokc runs after kick returns
SS mode has so much potential to become it's own game. I think that NCAA has it pegged with the Campus Legend mode. When you get drafted, you shouldn't automatically be the starter. You should have to work your way up in the depth chart. I hate it when I have a 75 ovr rookie SS safety (reasonable for a rookie) and I am drafted by the Eagles and starting over Brian Dawkins. That would NEVER happen in real life. The Eagles wouldn't even draft a safety!
After play celebrations need to be worked on also. When my team sacks the QB I shouldn't be the only one celebrating when I am 25 yards away from the play.
The money you make with your SS should be used for something. It makes the whole contracts issue worthless right now. The only reasons right now that I care where I get drafted is by the uniform/stadium and so that I am not unseating an All-Pro as a starter.
More player modifications in SS mode. Changing the hair, tattoos, eye black, etc. You can't have only 15 heads/faces/hair styles for all Madden SS players to mold themselves to.
Make practice and training camp worth more. I always skip them since I can just up my player influence in game. This is where I should be competing to move up the depth chart.
Off the field events. I want to see the pimped-out apartment in the city and house in the suburbs I own with my huge off-season contract I just signed.
I don't know if this one is possible, but I would like to be drafted in the same year that I graduated my Campus Legend in. Why am I in college from 2009-2012 and then I get drafted in the third round of the 2009 NFL draft? I don't even care if those seasons are super-simmed and all player/personnel moves are simmed. We all know that the teams depth charts won't stay the same over those years I am busting my *** in college to become a first-round draft pick.
I know that the players can't hear the commentary on the field of play, but it would be nice to hear something other than just the fans (who are boring) and the on-field noises. I wouldn't mind hearing the commentary and have Chris Collinsworth praise me when I make a good play and embarrass me when I mess up.
I would love an ESPN interface. 2K5 had it best when they recapped all the week's games.
I am sure that I have some more, but I am pretty tapped out right now. Let me know what you guys think. I hope that someone actually reads these things!
It would be great to be its own game...the game has potential to be VERY VERY deep, but right now it's just a sub-section of a larger game.
Hopefully 2k sports can work something out with this.

y would you want to jump higher, maybe if it actually took time to turn ur WR around instead of a split second than yes, but just to RC no. Online Franchise? Pregame Shows? Helmets coming off, different colored cleats (like the redskins). tighter zones, better man , no weapons

this is something that pisses me off a lot i want to be able to chose the jerseys my team wears and what colors like in nba 2k games u can see what jerseys the team chooses im a niner fan and i dont want to be wearing the ugly new burgandy red niner colors i want the pure red throwbacks from the ronnie lott and joe montana days with the diff helmets and grey facemasks and brown pants make that an option for online play

Also in Franchise mode when you play the Super Bowl they should have an animation of the players dumping gatorade on the coach like in real life. Also team helmets at the pro bowl.
yeah make the super bowl bigger, also make franchise more involved with money, you can upgrade ur stadium but it does nothing for you, also the audiences, if u play if the home team's defense is on 3rd down make the audience get loud, if u play at Pittsburgh show the terrible towels, if the home team is losing by more than 21 points in the fourth make the crowd leave
hope they actually rate the teams like they are. . ....When a player like Tom Brady is hurt for the whole season, he shouldn't be able to play online. He is not the only one. Madden has it's favorite teams and players. How is the Patriots still so high? NO team should be rated a 97 overall, except all madden teams.
They are rated 97 becuase of last years performance. If you played them as a Franchise they are like 92 or 93. (which is they actual average).
Get rid of all glitches and rocket catches. If you can't win by playing the game right you shouldn't get the win by cheesing.
I'd love to have an option to dive over the pile for RBs and LBs/DBs.
I'd love to have an option to create your own pb. Pick the plays you like best from all the pbs and mold them into your own. Off and Def.

Have the clock stop when the ball carrier goes out of bounds! This didn't really bother me at first since I don't play offense, but the more and more I notice it the more it ticks me off.
One big thing I would like in Madden 2010 is to have trophies for PS3 just like XBOX 360 has it's achievments.

-I would like to see all the Historic teams like in 05 where you can be the 49ers of the 80's or the steelers of the 70's
-Also i would like to see real phisics be engineered into the hitting and not always seeing the same animations for hitstick hits over and over again
-i'd like to see people who have 99 speed to just hit the hole and nobody be able to catch them like on kick returns when u see in real life where Hester just hits a hole and is off to the races.

- i want to see alot more one handed catches b/c in 09 there is only that dumb spininnig 1handed catch
- i want to see stats like strength actually stand out when in 09 i sometimes see darren sproles stiff arm a dlineman to the ground.

- actually training camps for franchise mode and SSmode where you take the players through many drills not only weight lifting and running
- booth reviews to be alot more accurate than they currently are
-lastly i would love to have all the HOF be unlocked so we can play as anyone such as Jim Brown or John Elway

I bet they can make all this stuff happen if they separate madden and superstar. Would you guys buy the games separate if they had "MADDEN 2010" and "MADDEN SUPERSTAR?" Hell if people buy the coach game i dont see why not superstar, that way they can really add a lot more to the madden experience and superstar experience with out taking more from one or another

They should just combine madden superstar and coach in one game. and just focus all there ability in just madden for its own game. I would be a little more willing to buy coach or superstar if they were together. Alone they dont interest me enough to spend 60 bucks on

One thing that would be nice is when you put a guy in motion and decide to do a formation audible, I don't want the WR to go back to the other side of the formation.
Oh my god, they need to add the Create-a-Playbook option again! I always used to make the greatest plays, and I love making plays from my High School playbook.

I deff think they should let u change the depth chart cause 4 my ss wr startin over braylon edwards his rookie year is kinda gay 2 me, but also they should let u either add a photo or use one of the exsisting photos 4 ur superstar so there is not that blank spot when ur lookin at ur teams roster haha!!!
they really need to improve jump balls, and also when in the red zone, the fade play. Like when Fitz catches those amazing balls with acrobatics. They need some of those. You cant throw the ball over the defeneder in the redzone whcih is lame. I dont htink they changed it but they needeed to
i wish u could create a playbook and use it in online play but i dont think u should actually be allowed to create plays cause that would be to glitchy but instead be able to get all ur favorite formations out of differernt playbooks and put them together into ur own created playbook
I'm not sure if these things have already been said but there are a few things I miss from the past and that I'd LOVE to see...
-More in-depth create-a-star features, like a lot more faces, choosing different hair and facial hair and colors for both. AND definitely TATTOOs!
-REAL Depth chart, having to EARN your spot, having to actually train and do more drills. I've been a position there I sucked (overall maybe 70) yet I was still above someone with an overall of about 95
-Possibly an position specific tutorial. Kinda like the Virtual Trainer in '09 but basing it on the different positions
-Further along in the years being made a franchise player and restricted and unrestricted free agents so other teams can try to steal you
-Allowing the teams to trade and pick up free agents
-I also miss the old "family story" like in Madden '07 I think where your parents interest, experience and skills camp into it, giving you more of a legacy
-Also in '07 how your apartment was upgraded each year you progressed
-I think they should bring back the radio shows and national and local papers
-Having more roles for your Agent, also put some random events into the weeks to add news and possibly fines and suspension or just effect the team. For example in Fifa the game after each or every few games there would be a message like doing fan signings, charity events that would boost moral but take from players energy. but also adding some scandle so a star might miss a game you you could fill in.
Well they're some of my ideas, I think the superstar in one of the best parts of the game with sooo many possibilities.
