View Full Version : Jaguars in 2009?
What do the Jaguars need to do to turn around for next season?
they need 2 get back to having a strong, feared Defense/ a new D cord will help a ton, other then that I think you could use some WRs, Joey Porter isn't as good anymore, Matt Jones is ok as long as he stays drug free
Jones Drew and the secondary are really nice as well as David Garrard :)
Offensive line needs 2 be 100 percent
they need to pray that Vince Young dosnt turn into what he was his rookie year.
Well here are many reasons
They need better defensive coaching
Better blocking(though 3 got injured this year)
Better protection for passing and running
stop getting injuries
Defense needs to get better to with stopping the passes and runs
If they can fix those they can do good
jaguars were the biggest disappointment of the year!!In preseason i predicted them to go to the sb.Hopefullly next year they can stay healthy
As being a Jags fan it was hard to watch as things fell apart. Really i think next year will be another building year nothing special but they have a great backfield along with a great QB. Their O-Line just has to stay injury free and it would be nice to get a decent WR that doesnt do drugs. On defense the secondary and linebackers are pretty good and so is the d line everyone just needs to step up and a D-Cord would be a good addition.
yall need marcus stroud back or a new raw dt a new d coordinator and a less injury riddled o line

Yea you did the kiss of death for us. Everyone predicted them to go to the super bowl but now they only won 5 games this year.
i dont think david garrard is right qb. they need someone who can REAALLLYY throw. and not someone who manages a game. but thats just me. i dont realy watch jags games. so if im wrong sorry

garrard is not their problem....he didnt have the best season but he can still get the job done..The problem for that o is keeping that line healthy
yeah but to me hes extreamly overrated.
matt jones cant catch whenever he hasnt been in the locker room doing bumps of coke
Another one of our problems was that Fred Taylor and Jones-Drew kept trying to run up the middle where our line was crushed. They need to do stretch playes or counters.
I dont know why you guys are saying Garrard is the problem? He was the top QB the season they went 11-5. He only had a bad season because of the O-line not protecting him. We have a new defensive coach and hopefully we can do better.
they need to get garrard playing like he was in 07, and get everyone healthy
yep thats what i keep saying. If we can repeat what we did in 2007 where we went 11-5, possible super bowl. We could of went but we had to play the damn 16-0 Pats. If we played the Chargers we could of had a chance
