We still dont get it :nono... but I dont understand why.. Why cant people accept the fact of, yes, the Titans as a real playoff contender. We are the #1 AFC seed.. and we have had some very impressive wins.
I just really dont understand, why is our defense being overlooked? All you hear about is the Ravens and Steelers, yeah they are very good defenses.. but I would warn everybody not to overlook ours.
Haynesworth,Finnegan,Vanden bosch, Griffin, tony brown, hope, to name a few.
All very good, and yeah we have the true SMASH AND DASH ( got the nickname before the panthers ) but yet everybody calls the panthers smash and dash..

umm i dont think the ravens are overlookin you guys you did beat em in their backyard once already this year...so i think there gonna be lookin for payback if anything...you have a good team...but i still dont think kerry collins is the guy to take you to the superbowl....i hope im wrong because thats my team now that the falcons and their sorry *** defense is out of it....

Because the panthers RBs are better and Deangelo actually came up with name around week 5 against KC.
But Williams now calls the duo double trouble because Lendale won't stop b1tching. You see the panther RBs care much more about performance than they do a stupid nick name unlike Lendale White.

2)tennesses WRs arent good enough to hang with baltimore defensive backs

i dunno this one is gonna be tuff to call i think its gonna be a low low low scorin game....and i dunno but i seem to remember the giants havin a pretty good day against the ravens earlier in the year...not that i remember any of the stats or anything tho....and that WAS in the regular season....the regular season does mean a little someting or else the teams wouldnt be in the positions they are now....but once your in the playoffs everyone has the same chance as everyone as long as you can run the ball and play some decent defense....anything can happen....the way im seein it as of now....titans 17 ravens 10....SUBJECT TO CHANGE

You Ravens will soon find out. Your defense is some tough ****, but kerry isnt as stupid as Chad. Ed reed wont get any picks. We'll play smarter have fewer turnovers and we will win.

This is so far what I think will happen. Though I would not be surprised if the winner of the Ravens/Titans game wins it all.
I am surprised though that the Titan's aren't getting more overall respect. Sure they don't do a ton of flashy things but they are very very consistent. Haynsworth has had recognition for a while now as one of the best if not the best DT in the league, and Van den Bosch has gotten respect for a few years now as a high motor guy who always comes to play and never quits. The situation with VY is disappointing but Kerry Collins is certainly a good guy at the helm. He wont wow you but he's a no nonsense guy who can read a D. Johnson has adjusted very well to the game and part of their overall success has been because he's been good on blitz pickup. Lendale While(Go USC!) has shown he isn't the bust scare he could have been and their D might not as many I think overall game changers as the Ravens but they are consistent and that can demoralize an offense.

I think the titans have a chance to win. Home field will be big. Dont throw tthe ball to edd reed (easier said than done) it will be a great game....

I also thought the titans had some of the best defense, even though i think the Steelers, Raven, and bears (When there not on the field for 45 minutes a game) have better D then them, I mean there defense is good, but the reason there being over look because they don't have all the big name players on there team, if you want and Example ANDRE JOHNSON! one of the best Wr and never gets the attention he should.
Baltimore is going to put a hurtin on the Titans. Especially if Kevin Mawae is out. At that time the Ravens front line will have a hay day with Collins.
