Jets sign Bart Scott

An unrestricted free agent in the 2009 offseason, Scott signed a five-year, $40 million contract with the New York Jets on February 27, 2009.

EDIT: Linebacker Bart Scott and the New York Jets agreed to a six-year deal worth $48 million on Friday, according to Scott's agent Harold Lewis.

Yea the reportedly have traded a 2009 5th round pick and a 2010 conditional pick (Between 2nd and 5th rounds). It's everything but official though, until he passes the physical which he is taking today.
