people who love Manning dont get the game, has done nothing substaintial in his career, his only superbowl win vs worst qb ever in a superbowl(grossman), maybe the most over rated qb in the game
can you say why Manning was drafted 1st overall and Brady wasn't until like the 6th round?
Wow...all that ****ing article talked about was the PLAYOFFS...**** the playoffs, Manning doesn't have the team around him that Warner or Brady does...
If Manning had Fitzgerald, Boldin, and Breaston...he wouldn't have any problem in the playoffs.
How is he ****ing overrated, you refuse to say, the only thing that stupid article talked about was performance in the playoffs, not the whole season.
Brady is a SYSTEM QB, you take him out of the equation with a QB who hasn't started since high school and you get an 11-5 record, which really proves how much he's really worth.

:crackupIS U SMOKIN CRACK OR SOMETHIN!?!?!
I guess you forgetting ABOUT HIS 3 MVP AWARDS!
Are u mentally deficient do u watch real football, u are saying that the first team Brady won a superbowl with was better than Indys, Troy Brown and David Patton vs Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison, and no running back vs Marshall Faulk, Corey Dillon came next superbowl, fyi those recievers that Warner has in Phoenix have been there for 3yrs, Boldin for more than 5yrs, u know nothing about real football, Manning has had the best supporting cast around him offensively for pretty much his entire career, before this year please tell me who had a better recieving tandem and he has always had studs at both running back and tight end thus he is tremendously over rated, stick to your video game clown
u clowns (TD KING AND SEAHAWK) go with the MVP awards i will go with the rings, complete morons, read the article and pipe down, when it matters the most Manning falls down, nice mvp award this year, how many playoff games did he win, total choke, Warner won 3 this year, Brady steps up everytime u guys gotta get out of the video world cause u seem to know nothing about the NFL

:badidea:killyourself
ur right, having 3 mvps, thats not special
--
Brady's superbowl victories are because of the defense and coaching.. last year it was on his back and he couldnt get it done...
--
look how great a qb who wasnt even a college qb did in the pats system? dont tell me about how great his one season was, paytons was more impressive. He didnt run up scores and didnt play the weakest schedule...
---
you are a complete moron. Rings dont mean your better. with your logic, you would take Jim Mchmahon over Dan Marino? good pick, your should coach
Kurt waner better than peyton is THE biggest joke ive ever seen... they start with his performance in the eagles game was classic warner? bull.. its classic larry fitzgerald
Again do u watch football u dumb f..., Brady did get it done to Moss in the superbowl to the Giants their defence let em down, Brady took em down the field and scored to take the lead 14/10, and for all u real "football guys" the reason Matt Cassell didnt play at USC is because he was sandwiched btwn Carson Palmer and Matt Lienhart, yur right Warner as many superbowl rings but two more superbowl appearances than Peyton and he doesnt compare, just read the article and learn some things, u think he really deserved mvp this year?

OK lets just end it right here!
Tom Brady Out for season, did they still have a good record? YES! they should have made playoff, but other teams got better.
Take Peyton Maninng off the team what's going to be there record?? Negative! I mean we seen what happened when he was injured losing record. When he's not there beast. Just image he out for whole season. Can you say them only winning 3-5 games I can:truestory
And an the superbowl Manning. The first dam kickoff was ran back! It was looking bad! For the colts score was 14-3. Then "Grossman" Happened. Peyton manning was the one to bring his team back and won.
dude u put Cassels in for Manning and they dont miss a beat do u realise why Cassels didnt play at USC? this is stupid u are just not equipped with facts
dude u put Cassels in for Manning and they dont miss a beat do u realise why Cassels didnt play at USC? this is stupid u are just not equipped with facts
Well I don't think so. Like said Cassel not on the colts, take manning out colts are done. I bet any money that he does not do anything good on the cheifs.
dude u could put the lovechild of Montana and Brady at QB for the Cheifs and he aint doin anything
Saying that Manning isn't Top 3 in the league today is just stupid. Besides, who cares about which one is better? Both are going to the Hall of Fame. That's all that matters. And Grossman wasn't the worst QB to start in a Super Bowl, ever heard of Trent Dilfer?

umm manning has dallas clark, reggie wayne and anythony gonzalez so yea he does have weapons and btw ur not a real seahawks fan saying julian peterson is a douche because he got traded:truestory

Alright D-bag...
First off, Brady got it done in the superbowl? far from. I guess you didn't watch. He missed many wide open receivers, not to mention falling to the ground like a ***** afraid to get hit on strahan's sack. He got it done to Moss? now your just talking silly. FYI, Moss had 6 receptions for THE ENTIRE PLAYOFFS, most definitely not getting it done
second, he put up 7 points in 3 and a half quaters. Why is that? Was that getting it done as well?
For a "Real Football Guy", you would know the defense did get it done. They gave up 17. Thats not a high number. If you told a single person that the giants would only score 17, they would have wrote in New England as champs.
Matt Cassell was a backup to carlson and Lienhart... thats right, hes not even as good as lienert. Leinart, wit the best recieving crew, sucks. His backup played great in new england... must be something about the pats offense. But if that isnt enough for you, wait unill he gets boo'ed out of KC. You will see how a terrible qb can play for the pats...
And who do you believe should have won MVP? if your saying warner, you out of your mind. Anyone can lob the ball to Fitz deep, (normally under throwing it) and watch Fitz go and get it.
and why the **** are you treating the article like God? All it proves is that theres another moron like you in the world... The article is amazingly weak, and any "real football guy" would see that.
:gtfo:
Never said Grossman was the worst QB in SB,
Yes he did. "his only superbowl win vs worst qb ever in a superbowl (grossman)". Read the original post again.

Brady a system QB? LOL. I guess your forgetting he has the strongest arm in the league and the precision to hit a midget running 70 yards downfield.
And Manning doesnt have the team around him that Brady or Warner does? LOL! Righttt... he doesnt have Joseph Addai or Dallas Clark , or Reggie Wayne , or Anthony Gonzalez, or Marvin Harrison, or Rhodes. And ya, he doesnt have a defense with names like Bob Sanders, Dwight Freeny, Bethea, Keiaho, or Brackett. Lol
Seahawks ur so ignorant its rediculous

Manning makes the team.
look at what happens when you take manning away.
look at what happens when you take brady away.
And brady doesnt have the strongest arm in my honest opinion nor the best accuracy.
You guys are acting like Brady is garbage. He is way better than Cassell and is much more accurate. And you are way underrating Kurt Warner, he was the best in the game 10 years ago, now he gets a decent team and look what he does with it. I get the feeling that alot of this sh1t is just NE haters. And I'm a NE hater myself and I can tell.
Evry1 seems so angry.
Chill-E-Pillz for everyone.

I LOVE how you're even bringing half of these names in it. Do you REALLY wanna set up a comparison?:
Patriots vs. Colts:
-Randy Moss > Reggie Wayne
-Wes Welker > Marvin Harrison
-Sammy Morris > Addai (he's always injured)
-Pats offensive line >>>>>>>>>>>> Colts' offensive line
-Freeney = Seymour
-Wilfork >>>>>>> Raheem Brock
-Mathis > Warren
-Thomas > Keiaho
-Mayo > Brackett
-Hayden > Hobbs
-Sanders > Sanders
You still find Pats on the upside, whore.
pats have a better team all around hands down.

Actually, he DOESN'T have Harrison.
Personally, I like Manning better than Brady. No one has EVER managed the game better. Plus, I have the impression that Tom and Gisele get their nails done together. That's just not cool.
LMAO told you bums that manning is overated lol brady > manning and I am a steelers fan so I can't be bias....

WTF lol manning has been surrounded by HOF talent since day 1, now ur tryina say he hasnt had amazing teams around him. wow. also lol @ you thinking warner has a better team around him then manning does. LOL you must not watch football.
warner & brady are waaaaaaaaaaay better playoff QB's then manning. and guess what? PLAYOFFS is all that matters in the NFL.

Who, pray tell, had Hall of Fame talent on the Colts in 1998?
Don't tell me Marvin Harrison, because he never gained 900 yards in a season, nor more than 8 TD's in a season before Manning came along.
Don't tell me Edgerrin, because he wasn't in the league yet.
Don't tell me Reggie Wayne, because he wasn't in the league yet either.
The Colts didn't have sh1t in 1998. They were 3-13 and were 2nd to last in points allowed.
Warner and Brady were both on Super Bowl Champion teams on day one, so you've lost this little argument, chet.

so marvin harrison isnt hall of fame talent because he had one subpar year? your logic makes sense. LOL
and you're also retarded/probably dont watch football if you think the cardinals are a championship team.
colts are still better than the cowgirls
colts are still better than the cowgirls
are you trying to get me mad or something? LOL you failed miserably. :superrofl
nah, i just am so sick of the cowgirls, thats all anyone uses online, and almost everyone does the same **** with them... but if it pissed you off at all, i wouldnt have felt bad or anything, ur a douche anyways....
everyone needs to calm down!
you cannot talk about the supporting casts of these qb's because they all had great coaching or defense when they won their rings
Manning is the best game manager in the leauge hands down, he is the only qb in the league whose offensive coordinator gives him suggestions on what play to run and peyton decides which one to run. Also in his super bowl year their defense was dramatically improved and the team had a very good coach in Dungy.
Brady is the most clutch qb in the league hands down. Anyone who watched his first two super bowls (vs Rams and vs Panthers) and they saw a calm qb putting his team in position to win. Now against the giants he was so rattled it wasnt even funny. Anyway, in his superbowl years, he had a great defense behind him, and the best coach in the league in Bill Belicheck.
And Warner just got lucky to have Marshall Faulk, Torry Holt, Issac Bruce to throw to, just like he has Larry Fitz and Breaston to throw to. Also he had.....a HOF coach in **** Vermeil.
IMO, the qb in the league who did the most witn nothing, esp. this year, was Drew Brees. And if anyone argues they are stupid because he threw for 5000 yards and carried the saints all by himself. No defense. No weapons cuz they were all hurt. (Bush, Colston, Shockey were hurt almost all year. and the best cover corner, Mike Mckenzie, missed al year with a knee injury) Guys starting for the saints were: Pierre Thomas, Lance Moore....WHO?
So there you have it.
1. Tie-Brady and Manning
2. Drew Brees
3. Phillip Rivers
4. Kurt Warner
so marvin harrison isnt hall of fame talent because he had one subpar year? your logic makes sense. LOL
and you're also retarded/probably dont watch football if you think the cardinals are a championship team.
hes trying to say that manning made marvin harrison what he is. drew brees > the rest tho
I'd like to point out the obvious and say that Manning, Brady, and Warner had good teams and coaches when they won the Super Bowl. Also, Brees is super awesome and has had no help whatsoever.
1. Tie- Brady and Manning
2. Kurt Warner
3. Drew Brees
4. Phillip Rivers
Fixed your comment. Much better now. :)
drew brees >>>kurt warner
drew brees >>>kurt warner
I lol'd. Good joke, Mickey.
Peyton Manning > Tom Brady
Drew Brees > Kurt Warner
Trust me ask any Pro Wr who would they want Tom brady or peyton manning..
Carson Palmer is still one of the best QBs out there imo. If he can leave Cinci look out, or if Cinci can get half way decent.
Let me know who you get your kush from bro. Somebody explained it as best as possible above: team. Manning doesn't have the type of weapons that Brady has. But everyone, including Brady, knows that Peyton is the best.
"Kurt Warner was on a championship team from day one."
and you're also retarded/probably dont watch football if you think the cardinals are a championship team.
HAHAHAHAHAH, you IDIOT.
Everyone please read this exchange carefully if you want to see the definition of irony and get a good laugh in the process, at the expense of "howboutdemcowgirls."
I said in an earlier post that Peyton Manning came into the league in '98 as the QB of a terrible, 3-13 Colts team and he brought them up from the bottom of the NFL to a perennial Super Bowl contender. I also noted that Tom Brady and Kurt Warner started in a far different fashion, because both of them were on championship teams from day one.
Then this little queermo "howboutdemboyz" comes on here with the quote above- saying that I probably don't watch football if I think the Cardinals are a championship team.
Hahahah Cardinals? I don't watch football? Dip$hit, Kurt Warner started with the RAMS, and won the Super Bowl in his first year as a starter. The RAMS....Greatest Show on Turf???? Ringing any bells? Or do YOU not watch football?
You and the little mexican boy are both a couple of simpletons, and I've already been spanking both of you on a daily basis, but please don't make it THAT easy for me. Next time, go ask your mom to proof read your post before you hit "submit." I won't be so kind if this happens again, sally.

Warner is bad dont get me wrong...But i agree he doesnt get much attention. I think he bagged groceries for a reason

and there defense is pretty damn good with bob sanders in the mix...
Manning has a team around him, dont say he doesnt. Reggie Wayne is as good as fitz , boldin and breaston and so was harrison. but i still do think Manning is better im just saying you say he doesnt have a all star cast ob. you dont watch football

If you watch enough Colts football, you'll know that there is no team in the NFL that would be damaged more by the loss of their QB. I cannot stress this enough- without Peyton, the Colts are nothing. They would be last in their division. The Colts defense is only good enough to play with the lead, and play the pass because the opposing offense has to pass. Without Peyton, the Colts would never have the lead, and the defense would crumble. Our skill players are only as good as Peyton has made them.
Marvin was a speedster in his younger days, but he has always been small and never had a crazy vertical like other small, dangerous WR's like Steve Smith.
Reggie is a middle of the road talent with superior preparation and work ethic, both of which were instilled in him early on by Peyton and Marvin. If you put Reggie Wayne with an average QB from day one, then none of you would know who he is right now.
Dallas Clark has never been to a Pro Bowl. He's a good receiving tight end, but again, there's nothing that jumps out at you- not that big, not that strong, not that fast. He was a walk on at Iowa, but now he's among the best receiving TE's in the game because of the quarterback he plays with.
Joseph Addai is a mediocre running back at best. He's nowhere near as good as Edgerrin.
Patriots without Brady = 11-5 proven.
Cardinals without Warner = 8-8 at worst
'99 Rams without Warner = 12-4 at worst
Steelers without Ben = 10-6 at worst
Colts without Peyton = lucky to win 5 games. We would get throttled every week.
I don't personally think this is all that important when I'm thinking about who the best QB is, but since the topic came up, I felt like weighing in. Peyton is the most important player to his team in the entire NFL, and I don't even think it's close.

ummm... hate to break it to you, kurt warner joined the NFL in 1998, as a member of the 4-12 st. louis rams... that's a REAL championship team lol
and tom brady joined a 5-11 patriots team... those are some real championship teams my friend.
guess you really don't watch football.
and no where did i state warner started with the cardinals. my bad for the confusion. though when you said:
"Warner and Brady were both on Super Bowl Champion teams on day one, so you've lost this little argument, chet."
i assumed you meant both were still on championship teams. again my bad.
maybe next time you should read up on your facts before you go and crown yourself a winner (as if it matters?)

I learned not to bother arguing with Anadrol because he obviously doesn't watch NFL football besides sucking the Colts c*ck. ''Tom Brady and Warner were on championship teams since day one'' Funnest **** I have ever read. Anadrol stop arguing, your making yourself sound more retarded than you already sound.

yap, i guess by his logic peyton manning was on a championship team since day one... which cancels out his entire argument. the only difference between the 3 on that subject is only two of them took their "championship team" to a superbowl their first year as starters, and it wasn't peyton manning.
WRs make the QB,not the other way around. My answer to the Manning vs Brady question is:Remember The Last Minute TD Pass That Eli Threw? Nough Said.

not exactly. Look at david carr.... He couldnt do anything against with andre johnson. Look at Matt Leinhert (sp?)
it can go both ways (no homo)

yea reggie wayne was picked in the first round, 4.4 forty
he has 5 straight 1000 yard seasons
you have to be good to do that, u dont notice the one handed grabs wayne makes?
also im sure u know about his work ethic and how peyton and marvin helped him, did u see that on ESPN or something?:superrofl
ummm... hate to break it to you, kurt warner joined the NFL in 1998, as a member of the 4-12 st. louis rams... that's a REAL championship team lol
and tom brady joined a 5-11 patriots team... those are some real championship teams my friend.
guess you really don't watch football.
and no where did i state warner started with the cardinals. my bad for the confusion. though when you said:
"Warner and Brady were both on Super Bowl Champion teams on day one, so you've lost this little argument, chet."
i assumed you meant both were still on championship teams. again my bad.
maybe next time you should read up on your facts before you go and crown yourself a winner (as if it matters?)
Your idiocy knows no bounds.
Ask every NFL head coach, "tell me how Tom Brady and Kurt Warner got their start in this league," and all of them will say Brady took over for Bledsoe and won the Super Bowl, and Warner took over for Trent Green and won the Super Bowl. I know you're dumb, but you can do better than this.
I don't need to crown myself, you have done an excellent job of that already.
:truestory
I learned not to bother arguing with Anadrol because he obviously doesn't watch NFL football besides sucking the Colts c*ck. ''Tom Brady and Warner were on championship teams since day one'' Funnest **** I have ever read. Anadrol stop arguing, your making yourself sound more retarded than you already sound.
You've learned not to argue with me because you're an intellectual dwarf and you're not interested in being embarrassed on a message board.
"Funnest **** I have ever read." -great line, goof ball.

haha wow, you're a complete joke.
what points are you even trying to make? you didn't provide any form of relevant rebuttal at all. every time you post it only because more evident that you're an idiot who can't accept simple facts that defy your logic that peyton manning is god.
seriously, wow dude. it's funny enough that you're calling someone else dumb, but that post is just pathetic.
please help lil old dumb me understand what points you're trying to make?
Manning had Marvin harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Adadi , and a good oline
and there defense is pretty damn good with bob sanders in the mix...
Manning has a team around him, dont say he doesnt. Reggie Wayne is as good as fitz , boldin and breaston and so was harrison. but i still do think Manning is better im just saying you say he doesnt have a all star cast ob. you dont watch football
i wouldnt go that far....

1. It was argued that Peyton has benefited from having hall of fame talent around him at all times, and presumably, Kurt Warner and Tom Brady had an inferior supporting cast, so they are better.
2. I refute that sentiment, because Brady and Warner started their careers on Championship teams.
3. You said I'm wrong, becuase Brady inherited a 5-11 Patriots team and Warner's Cardinals are not championship caliber.
4. I respond that you've mistaken Warner's stint with the Cardinals as the start of his career. His career began with the Rams, and they won the Super Bowl.
5. You still try to argue that the "start" of Brady's career was in 2000 and the "start of Warner's career was in '98.
And that's where we are now. Both Brady and Warner threw fewer than 5 passes in their rookie seasons. They are not held accountable for any wins in their rookie years, nor are they responsible for any losses because they didn't play. The first year that Kurt Warner was able to display his value as a QB was in 1999, and for Brady it was 2001. Both won the Super Bowl in their first year as the starter.
This has nothing to do with who I think is better between Peyton, Brady, and Warner. It's a simple fact that Peyton started with less. His first team had the worst record in the NFL at 3-13.
I'll say it again, I don't really care that much about how good or bad the team is around the quarterback because I think a good QB will stand out regardless. But if that is the argument, then you cannot say Peyton had some great squad already in place for him, while Brady and Warner made their own luck. That's simply incorrect.
Furthermore, I'm not that big of a Manning fan. I'm a Colts fan, and I was a Colts fan long before Peyton showed up, and I'll be a Colts fan long after he's gone. Has he proven himself to me? Yes. Do I think he can do no wrong, and he's "god" as you put it? Hardly.

1. i didn't exactly say "all times." but alright.
2. taking over squads with records of 5-11 and 4-12 aren't championship teams.
3. guess you can't read. i said warner joined a 4-12 RAMS.
4. warner joined them a year before they won the superbowl, took over the stating spot, started every game as a ram when they won the superbowl, made amazing things happen. he didn't take over a championship team, he made them one.
5. it isn't the start of their career? it isn't when they came into the nfl? oh wait, it is. either way, those QBs turned their teams into champions
and it makes no sense, that you say peyton started with less, while knowing warner and brady took over to very sub-par teams. those teams with horrible records didn't suddenly turn into championship teams the next year, Warner and Brady MADE them championship teams.
you never said that in the first place.

1. alright.
2. They didn't take over teams with losing records. They both assumed the starting role during a Super Bowl run. I'm not saying they didn't help. Of course they did. They're both great QB's. But you cannot tell me that the '98 Colts were anywhere near as good as the '99 Rams or the '01 Patriots. It's that simple. Remove all 3 QB's, and tell me which team was best and which team was worst. The '98 Colts sucked. The Rams and Patriots would've been winning teams with many QB's. Yes, Brady and Warner made them better, but nonetheless, those are championship teams.
3. You first said Cardinals. I don't care to argue this, I believe you that it was a mistake.
4. It doesn't matter when he joined, it matters when he was the man. Was Bret Favre the best QB in the league when he was on the Falcons? Was he the worst? We have no idea. It's irrelevant. It means nothing because he didn't play.
5. Again, it boils down to this- are the '98 Colts, without Manning, anywhere near as good as the '99 Rams or the '01 Patriots, without their QB's? You've got to agree with me on that. Look at the '98 Colt's defense. It was trash. It was less than nothing.

2. they DID take over teams with losing records. any way you look at it, they took over for really bad teams. without those QB's those teams would have remained trash. warner and brady's excellent play help elevate them to a higher level. again they're only championship teams because their qb's made them that.
3. i said the cardinals weren't a championship team, i never said he STARTED with the cardinals, i said warner started the 4-12 rams, and corrected our miss communication about the cards.
4. when he was "the man" he turned the 4-12 rams into a superbowl champion. pretty good.
5. the colts might be worse, i'll give you that, but the rams and patriots would still be horrible teams with losing records hoping to land a good player with their high draft pics.
Hm, let's think.
How would the Patriots be without Tom Brady?
Wait. They went 11-5 with a backup QB who hasn't started since high school.
Now take a minute and think. How would the Colts be without Peyton Manning??? Manning is the only reason the Colts are something today, and the only reason they always lose in the playoffs is because the Colts' defense can't hold up. Manning's QB rating in the playoffs has been always above 90, but the rest of the team can't hold up. Brady got far because he has the better team and the better defense.

the only reason they were good is because now the patriots are loaded with talent, and the QB who took over had about 4 years to learn the system under a hall of fame QB and hall of fame coach.

Except Peyton Manning was thrown into the fire that was a 3-13 season and turned the entire team around by himself before he turned 25.
Except Peyton Manning was thrown into the fire that was a 3-13 season and turned the entire team around by himself before he turned 25.
what? that has nothing to do with what i just said to you? lol
What I'm saying is, Peyton had a lot less to work with when he entered the organization than Brady.
2. they DID take over teams with losing records. any way you look at it, they took over for really bad teams. without those QB's those teams would have remained trash. warner and brady's excellent play help elevate them to a higher level. again they're only championship teams because their qb's made them that.

2. No. Teams are not the same from year to year. Warner did not take over the '98 Rams, he took over the '99 Rams. They had different players and different coaches, most notably Marshall Faulk and Torry Holt. Neither were on the team in '98. Both were on the team in '99. Same with the Pats from '00 to '01. They gained Richard Seymour, Antwaan Smith, Bryan Cox, and Mike Vrabel. I understand your point, and I have said multiple times that the QB's helped those teams improve as well, but that undermines the point of the argument- that Manning's first year as a starter was more difficult than Warner's or Brady's. It's right there, and I know you agree at this point, you just hate give up any ground. It's pointless now. I know you agree.
3. OK, I'm not worried about that one at this point.
4. When he became "the man" there was no 4-12 Rams anymore. That team was in the past. He took a 0-0, 1999 Rams team to the Super Bowl. Look at it a different way- Matt Cassel did not FAIL because he took over the 16-0 Patriots and had a disappointing 11-5 season. He succeeded because he took the '08 Patriots to a respectable 11-5 season. Tim Floyd, who you've probably never heard of, and I don't blame you, was the coach of the '98-'99 Chicago Bulls. They were 13-37. It was their first year without Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman. By your logic, he took over the greatest team of all time and lead them to a miserable 13-win season, right?
5. OK, I'm glad we agree, the Colts would be way worse. As for your other points, you may want to re-evaluate your stance on that. Would the '99 Rams have been far worse with Trent Green? I believe they would've been a playoff team. They had all the weapons, and Green wasn't too bad back then. Marshall Faulk still would've been the best player in the NFL, and I've gotta think Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt, and Az Hakim would've been formidable as well. The '01 Patriots didn't need much of a QB. Brady only had 413 pass attempts for 2,800 yards that year. They won on defense first, running second, and SHORT passing third. There were probably 15 QB's that year that would've won the Super Bowl with the Patriots. Don't forget, Brady wasn't a great QB back then. It wasn't even a sure thing that they would start him over Bledsoe in the playoffs that year. He was the definition of a game managing QB. They just needed him to NOT lose the game for them, and for all intents and purposes, he did just that in the AFC Championship with that fumble-turned tuck rule. Either way, with either team, I really don't think it's likely that they would've been high draft pick, bottom feeders without Brady and Warner respectively.

these points i can agree with for the most part. though i still do not think they would have exactly been superbowl contenders without those QB's. so this is settled.

Good way to end it.
I'll give a little too- I think the Rams would have a tough time without Warner. He was a big reason for their turnaround. I stand firm on the '01 Pats though. Brady did end up becoming a great QB, but that year, he was nothing special, and he was along for the ride.

Seriously, you are ridiculously retarded. I suggest you GTFO you add nothing but idiotic statements to this forum.
PEYTON MANNING WAS 'ALONG FOR THE RIDE' DURING HIS LONE SUPERBOWL RUN.
Manning in '06 postseason.
3 touchdowns
7 interceptions
QB Rating: 71.1
Lets face it, most people just remember his late TD drive in the AFCCG. But he was absolutely awful that postseason. He was along for the ride.
Argue with those numbers. Im going to assume you will continue to IGNORE these numbers and continue to either attempt to insult me or go on an offtopic rant about how Brady sucks.

if im right he got 30 or 31 touchdowns that year...

31 TD's 9 INT's and joined McNabb as the only other QB to throw for over 30 TD's and less than 10 INT's in a season
this thread is retarded both peyton manning and tom brady are great qbs and future hof. there easily the top 2 qbs in the league this thread should be closed

I hope you know that Brady also is in that group..50 TDs, 8 INT.
But my point was that Manning didn't do crap in the postseason. 7 INTs, 3 TDs isn't going to help many teams. He was 'along for the Superbowl run'. I know im obviously correct because Colt-homer Analrod didn't comment.

i do, i was talking past tense
Carson Palmer is still one of the best QBs out there imo. If he can leave Cinci look out, or if Cinci can get half way decent.
true i often forget about palmer. if von olhoffensteinf**ker doesnt blow out his knee in the playoffs, and the bengals win, then who knows this could be a Peyton v. Brady v. Palmer thread.
Oh and EliteCrusader......KURT WARNER sucks and is no where near better than drew brees or rivers. **** i could throw to fitz, boldin, and breaston, and go 8-8

Warner sucks? He took the goddamn Arizona Cardinals to the Super Bowl! Before he got there, they were the laughingstock of the league for decades and only had 1 playoff win since 1947. Now, the Cardinals culture has changed and they've proven that they can compete in the league, with Kurt Warner leading them. He's also probably going to the Hall of Fame, so he doesn't suck. :gtfo:

Yeah I agree. Warner is defintely a HOF QB. 3 Superbowl appearances, 1 Superbowl win. Led the FREAKEN CARDINALS to the Superbowl. I mean seriously, no one even expected the team to even win the division. Has he had great offensive talent with him? Defintely. Holt, Bruce, Faulk, Breaston, Fitzgerald, Boldin are all elite/great talent. But then again..so has Peyton Manning with a much better defense and he only has 1 SB appearance to show for it. So you can't really penalize him for that.
Butttttt going back on topic.
Brady > Manning.

look at the cards schedule
it had to be one of the toughest
their out of divison opponents were crazy good

True.
4 games against NFC East: Eagles/Cowboys/Redskins/Giants
4 games against AFC East: Jets/Dolphins/Patriots/Bills
Although the Steelers AND Colts had the toughest schedule going into 2009. But we all know that teams that were good last year, sucked this year (Chargers/JAX) and teams that sucked last year, were good this year (Miami/Ravens)

funny how things worked out for the steelers, not only did their schedule not live upto the hype, but they ended up having the easiest post season schedule of all time.
