View Full Version : MADDEN 08 QUESTIONS FOR THE PROS
Wow, a dude with 100 losses just froze me in the 2nd quarter.....pathetic. I have a few questions/ concerns that I was hoping you guys could help me out with. Many of you have been very helpful in the past:
1) Having never cheated, it is frustrating to be ranked 155 when I would be ranked much higher if it weren't for glitching bums. I've held out hope that in 08 Icould gain alot of ground on them before they find new cheats. However, the thing I want to know is how the F&%K do they have 2100 games played!!!!??? I have about 450 and I sometimes feel like I should be getting out more often!!! Are they spamming wins or something?
2) Am I the only one that is terrified of these "weapons" in 08? For instance, if Fabien Washington is a "speed corner" what the hell is he going to do? I just have a bad feeling that next year's glitches will be centered around this new feature. Hopefully, I'm wrong.
Also, a little memo to JRHOADS....We've never played, I'm sure we will some day, but I just wanted to say don't worry about all of the people that think you aren't deserving of where you are. All indications are that you are the best player online and just because someone beats you once doesn't change that. Congratulations to all of the top players from this year that were legit. You know who you are. To all the top glitchers, enjoy your last month on top. WE know who YOU are!!!

Just because they give people a Speed Weapon doesn't mean they're going to gain anything extra, at least that's what has been said. From what I've heard, only the smart weapons are going to add something extra.

so what does the speed weapon do then? nothing? that seems kind of pointless.
this is what i know about te weapons
they are not anything special.... for instance rodney harrison is a big hitter... that does not mean every tackle that is a hitstick from him will be a fumble.... its just stating that he is a big hitter... in 07 we all knew he was a big hitter, in 08 its like they r telling us he is a big hitter....
same thing goes with speed.... we all know daunte stallworth is 1 fast guy.... but b/c he has a speed weapon it does not mean that when he needs it he will have some extra speed boost.....
the 1 feature that WILL be able to affect the game is the smartness.... the smart qb/cb/safety will be able to read the offensive/defensive plays if 1 is called to much...... in 07 we were able to guess what plays they were doing, especially if they ran a couple over and over again, however this new feature will be able to SHOW us the exact play they r running if they run it too often

lol because they still have Tom brady a good but not great qb! As for the smart stuff i dunno if i like it! There are so many plays u can run that work lol! I run about 10 but use hot routes etc i wonder if the hot routes matter or it will still be considered the same play...
Smart safeties might finally step up and cover the slot cross THANK GOD i havent even been running that trash! Am now but still dont spam it..

like me i would be in top 10 but i stop playing madden 07 because of all the glitchers and DCs
I think the weapons are mainly to show the casual player or new player who are the impact players. Don't think it will change the game that much.
